Gear selector microswitch Ligier / Microcar / Dué

The micro switch for the gear lever of the moped cars from Ligier, Microcar and Due is the small electronic switching point that is fitted inside the gear lever. Every time you move the lever to a different position (Drive for forward, Neutral for idle, Reverse for reverse), the micro switch closes or opens the matching circuit. That way the on-board electronics knows at any moment which position is selected and can activate the right functions, such as the reversing lights when in Reverse or the start lock when the lever is not on Neutral.

A faulty micro switch shows up as reversing lights that no longer come on when you put the lever on Reverse (the signal for reverse no longer gets through), as a moped car that will not start while the lever is on Neutral as usual (the start lock no longer recognises the neutral position), or as an error message on the dashboard related to the gear position. This micro switch is by Bonq and technically equivalent to the original part.

Suitable for the gear lever of the Ligier IXO, JS50 (Phase 1 to 3), JS50L (Phase 1 to 3), JSRC, Optimax, X-Too, X-Too MAX, X-Too R, X-Too S and X-Too RS, and the Microcar Due 2, Due 3, M8, MGO1, MGO2, MGO3 and MGO4.
