Unlike earlier phases, the JS50 Phase 5 is no longer equipped with a twin-cylinder Lombardini engine. This model is available either as an electric mopedcar or with a single-cylinder diesel engine, also referred to as the thermal version. These drivetrains differ significantly from previous JS50 models.
