The variator drive belt Aixam / Minauto handles the power transmission between the engine side and the gearbox side of the variator. The belt fits mopedcars with a Kubota Z402 or Z482-E4B engine and is suitable for Aixam, Minauto and the Ligier Myli.
A wearing or broken drive belt manifests itself through reduced acceleration, vibrations or loss of drive. Timely replacement prevents other variator components such as sliding shoes or weight holders from wearing prematurely. When replacing, immediately inspect the rest of the variator for signs of wear.
