The weight holder engine side variator keeps the weights in place inside the engine variator of your mopedcar. During driving the weights push outwards and make the variator shift. The holder guides that movement and absorbs the friction, which is why the part gradually wears.

Worn holders cause an uneven drive, jolts when pulling away or loss of power at higher speeds. There are three weight holders in one clutch and they are almost always replaced together, since uneven wear quickly leads to the same complaints again. When overhauling the engine variator, it is worth checking the carbon bearing, the freewheel and the spacer at the same time.
