Starter motor Lombardini DCI 442 / 480 / 492

The starter motor for the Lombardini LDW 442, 480 and 492 DCI engines is matched to this specific engine range. The DCI engines were used over many years in the Ligier JS50 and JS60 series and the Microcar MGO and Dué series and also appear in models by Chatenet, Grecav, Bellier, JDM, Casalini and Due. When the moped car has one of these DCI engines, this starter motor fits.

During a difficult start with a cold engine, the starter motor takes the greatest strain: it has to overcome more resistance than with a warm engine and needs a good battery voltage to be able to start. A starter motor that turns slowly, clicks without firing or does not react at all when the key is turned, is due for replacement. This starter motor is by Bonq.
