Fuel pump mechanical Lombardini 502 FOCS

The mechanical fuel pump for the Lombardini LDW 502 FOCS engine is intended for the classic generation of moped cars that run on this engine: the Ligier Ambra and Nova, the Microcar Virgo, MC1 and MC2, the Chatenet Barooder, Media and Stella, the Bellier Divane and VX550 and the Grecav EKE. This pump draws the diesel from the tank and delivers it to the injection system, driven by a camshaft on the engine.

A worn fuel pump gives itself away by an engine that struggles to start after a long stand-still, stalls while driving or loses power under load. A visible diesel drop around the pump is also a sign that the seal no longer holds. This fuel pump is by Bonq and comes complete with an O-ring seal, which gives a reliable connection between the pump and the engine block.
