Fuel filter Lombardini 502 FOCS / Progress

The fuel filter for the Lombardini LDW 502 FOCS and 502 Progress engines is an in-line filter that fits directly in the fuel hose between the tank and the engine. Unlike a cartridge filter in a housing, this filter type is connected to the fuel line with two 6 mm hose fittings: fuel flows in one side into the filter mesh and out the other side, cleaned of particles from the tank.

Rust, sediment or dirt from the tank can damage the injection or the fuel pump; the in-line filter catches those particles before they reach the engine. When the filter is visibly dark or dirty, or when the engine is hard to start or runs unevenly, it is time to replace.

Suitable for the Microcar Virgo, MC, MGO and Dué series, the Ligier JS50, JS60 and X-Too series, the Chatenet Barooder, Stella and Media and related models by Grecav, Bellier, Due and Aixam with a Lombardini LDW 502 FOCS or 502 Progress engine.
