The drive shaft for the Aixam City, Coupé, Crossline and Crossover from the Impulsion, Vision, Sensation, Emotion, Ambition and S10-2 series and for the D-Truck transfers the torque from the gearbox to the driven front wheels. The shaft absorbs the movements of the wheel suspension through the universal joints at both ends.
Clicking noises in corners, vibrations when pulling away or grease around the boots indicate play or a leaking protective boot. Continuing to drive with a worn drive shaft speeds up wear of the universal joints and can eventually lead to loss of drive. This drive shaft is by Bonq, with a length of 610 mm and fits both front left and front right.
This version is specifically intended for moped car models with ABS (anti-lock braking system). An ABS ring is fitted on the outer constant velocity joint, which is read by the wheel speed sensor so that the brake system works correctly. Suitable for the Aixam City, Coupé, Crossline and Crossover from the Impulsion, Vision, Sensation, Emotion, Ambition and S10-2 series, and for the D-Truck.
