The ball joint for the Microcar Virgo, MC1, MC2, MGO and Dué series, the Ligier IXO, JSRC, JS50, JS50L and JS60 series is the pivot point between the wishbone and the steering knuckle where the wheel sits. Thanks to this ball joint, the wheel can turn in all directions when steering and at the same time move up and down when the wheel rides over a speed bump or a bumpy road surface.
A worn ball joint shows up as a knocking sound from the wheel arch when steering or on a bumpy road, as play you can feel when you move the wheel by hand from top to bottom, or as a less direct steering feel. A weakened ball joint can break loose under heavy load, causing the wheel suspension to no longer hold the wheel in place. This ball joint is by Bonq and fits both the left and the right front side.
Suitable for the left and right front side of the Microcar Virgo, MC1, MC2, MGO1, MGO2, MGO3, MGO4, MGO6, M8, Dué First, Dué 2, Dué 3 and Dué 6, the Ligier IXO, JSRC, JS50 (Phase 1 to 4), JS50L (Phase 1 to 3) and JS60 (Phase 1 and 2). Thread size: M12. Hole diameter: 6 mm or 8 mm.
