Windshield Microcar MGO3 / MGO4 / MGO6

The windscreen for the Microcar MGO3, MGO4 and MGO6 is the large glass panel at the front of the moped car that gives the driver a clear view of the road and at the same time protects the interior from wind, rain, insects and stone chips thrown up during driving. This version is supplied in tinted glass, which means the glass has a light tint that softens direct sunlight coming into the cabin. That makes driving in bright sun more comfortable and limits the warming up of the interior on hot days.

You usually replace a windscreen after a crack or star in the glass caused by a stone chip (under daily load, this crack spreads quickly through temperature swings and vibrations), after deep scratches on the glass surface that block the view against oncoming light from headlights or a low sun, or after years of UV exposure that leaves the glass hazy on the surface and reduces the clear view through it. This windscreen is by Bonq and technically equivalent to the original part.
