Timing belt Lombardini Focs / Progress engine (108 teeth)

The timing belt with 108 teeth for the Lombardini LDW 502 FOCS and LDW 502 Progress is a replacement part with a fixed maintenance interval. The belt consists of a rubber outer layer with reinforced fabric inside; that weave keeps the teeth in the correct position relative to the gears. If that position shifts by even a few millimetres, the engine runs out of timing and damage follows.

Replace the belt before the prescribed mileage or years are reached, and check at every service for hairline cracks, hardened shiny spots or pieces of rubber coming loose. This timing belt is from Dayco and matched to the Lombardini 502 engine family.
