Subframe chassis Aixam 2005-2010

The steel subframe for the front of the chassis of the Aixam 721, 741, City, City S, City Sport, Crossline, Roadline, Scouty and Scouty R from the model years 2005 to 2010 with a Kubota Z402 engine is the support structure on which the front wheel suspension and the engine with drivetrain are mounted. The subframe absorbs the forces that act on the wheels and the engine while driving, and transfers them to the chassis in a distributed manner.

A worn or damaged subframe shows up as rust spots or cracks at the welding points, as wheels that no longer sit correctly on the road causing the tyres to wear unevenly, or as a moped car that steers less straight and has more play in the front wheel suspension.
