Product description

The rear shock absorber for the Ligier JS50 and JS50L Phase 1 and the Microcar MGO3 (1st assembly) dampens the movements of the wheel suspension and keeps the rear wheels in contact with the road. Without proper damping, the chassis keeps bouncing after every bump, which makes the ride unpredictable and reduces tyre grip in corners.

A leaking shock absorber with oil on the housing, worn rubbers at the mounting points or clear bouncing after a fist test on the rear are signs to replace. Continuing to drive with a bad shock absorber also leads to faster wear of the spring packs, silentblocks and even the body mountings. This shock absorber is by Bonq, with a length of 43 cm and a hole diameter of 12 mm at both ends.

This shock absorber is for the 1st assembly. For the Ligier JS50 and JS50L Phase 1 and the Microcar MGO3, specific chassis number ranges apply; check before ordering whether your chassis number falls within the applicable range.
