Shock absorber rear JDM Abaca / Abaca Mountain

The rear shock absorber for the JDM Abaca and Abaca Mountain is mounted on the left or right side of the rear axle. On every speed bump, road ridge or bend you take, this shock absorber absorbs the movements of the rear axle: it compresses on an impact from below and springs back in a controlled way, so that the tyre pressure on the road remains even. Without proper damping, the rear wheel bounces on every road irregularity, with poor grip and uncomfortable driving as a result.

A worn shock absorber shows up as a rear end that keeps rocking after a speed bump, oil spots on the housing (a sign of a leaking seal), or a visible sagging of the rear end under load. This shock absorber is by Bonq and has a length of 32.5 cm and a hole diameter of 10 mm for the mounting bolts.

Suitable for the left- and right-hand rear side of the JDM Abaca and JDM Abaca Mountain.
