Rear brake disc Ligier / JDM / Microcar 1002147 (Ø 170 mm)

The rear brake disc for the Ligier Nova, X-Too and X-Too Max, the JDM Titane 3 and the Microcar Virgo, MC1 and MC2 has a diameter of Ø 170 mm and a thickness of 4 mm, matched to the wheel hub of these models. At the rear, the brake disc is smaller than at the front, because the rear brake has to deliver less braking force; most of the braking effect comes from the front wheels.

Even so, a properly working rear brake is crucial: it stabilises the moped car during braking and prevents the rear wheel from sliding across the road on wet surfaces or during emergency braking. Recognisable signs that replacement is due are a minimum thickness below 4 mm, a raised edge on the running surface or a pulsating brake pedal. This brake disc is by Bonq and fits both the rear left and the rear right sides.
