Gear selector wiring and switch Aixam

The wiring with cable connector and microswitch for the shift lever of the Aixam and Minauto is the electrical connection between the shift lever and the DNR selection of the moped car. DNR stands for Drive, Neutral and Reverse: the three positions of the automatic gearbox. When you move the lever to a different position, the microswitch passes a signal through this cable connector to the rest of the system, so the moped car knows which function is selected.

Faulty wiring shows up as reverse lights that no longer come on when Reverse is engaged, as an engine that will not start because the system does not detect that the lever is in Neutral, or as a selection that does not respond to lever movement. In all cases replacement is due: without a reliable electrical connection, the DNR selection does not work as intended. This wiring is by Bonq.

Suitable for the Aixam City, Coupé, Crossline, Crossover, GTO, D-Truck and the E-City Impulsion and the Minauto V1, 2015, Ambition, Sensation and Cross from the Impulsion, Vision, Sensation and Emotion series.
