The fuel filter sensor for the Lombardini DCI engine detects when water has collected in the fuel filter of your mopedcar. The sensor sits in the base of the filter housing and sends a warning to the dashboard once the water level becomes too high. This prevents water from reaching the injection system, where it could damage the injectors and the high pressure pump.
If the warning light no longer responds, stays on permanently or fuel leaks past the sensor, replacement is recommended. This Bonq part is a technically equivalent alternative and is matched to the Lombardini LDW 442 DCI, LDW 480 DCI and LDW 492 DCI.
The water detection sensor fits among others Microcar (MGO, Due), Ligier (JS50, JS60) and Chatenet with these Lombardini engines.
