Flexible intake hose air filter Lombardini

The air filter inlet hose for the Ligier JS50 and JS60 series and the Microcar MGO and Dué series with a Lombardini LDW 442 DCI, 492 DCI or 502 Progress engine is the flexible connection between the air filter housing and the engine inlet. Through this hose flows the air that has just been cleaned by the filter, on its way to the combustion chamber.

As the hose ages, the rubber becomes hard and brittle, with cracks at the connection points as the first signs. At that moment a problem arises: through the small cracks, unfiltered air carrying dust reaches the engine directly, where it accelerates wear of the pistons, cylinder walls and valves. This inlet hose is by Bonq.
