Flexible exhaust Aixam 1997-2010

The flexible exhaust pipe for Aixam 1997-2010 sits between the front exhaust section and the rear silencer and absorbs the movements of the engine. Because the engine vibrates and tilts slightly, a rigid exhaust would crack; the flexible section takes up that movement and keeps the whole exhaust line intact.

When the flex pipe starts to crack or rust through, it causes leaks, more noise and the exhaust system pulls out of line. Timely replacement prevents damage to the more expensive exhaust parts further down. This flex pipe comes from Bonq and is technically equivalent to the original, with a length of 18 cm, an inner diameter of 26 mm and including mounting clamps.

Suitable for the Aixam 400, 500.4, 721 and 741, and for the City, Crossline, MEGA 2 and Scouty from the model years 1997 to 2010.
