The flexible exhaust pipe for the Microcar MC1, MC2 and Virgo, the Ligier X-Too and X-Too MAX, the Bellier Divane and Opale, the Chatenet Media, the Grecav EKE and the JDM Aloës, Roxsy and Xheos forms the flexible link between the front exhaust section on the engine and the fixed exhaust section towards the silencer. Because the engine can move slightly on its mounting rubbers, the exhaust has to absorb that movement without tearing; that is exactly what the braided steel outer sleeve of the flexible pipe does.
A cracked or rusted-through flexible pipe lets exhaust gases escape at the underside of the moped car, causes noise and makes the engine run unevenly because the back pressure is disturbed. This flexible exhaust pipe is by Bonq, with an inner diameter of 32 mm and a length of 310 mm. During installation, the flexible pipe is fixed at both ends with an exhaust clamp, which is not included with this item.
