Product description
The glide shoe for the variomatic on the gearbox side is a small component with a specific task: it slides between the moving parts of the variator pulley and provides a smooth transition between the various gear ratios. Every time the moped car accelerates or slows down, the glide shoe moves along and keeps the pulley halves at the correct distance from each other.
Over time, the plastic wears down through the constant friction in the variomatic. A worn glide shoe shows up as a variomatic that no longer shifts smoothly, jerky acceleration or a moped car that no longer reaches its top speed. This glide shoe is by Bonq and is sold per piece; three are needed per variomatic.
Suitable for the variomatic on the gearbox side (2nd model) of the Microcar, Ligier, Chatenet, Grecav, Bellier, JDM, Casalini, Canta, Minauto, Due and Aixam.
