The brake caliper for the front of the JDM Abaca, Abaca Mountain, Albizia and Aloës and the Microcar MC1 and MC2 is the component in which the brake pads sit and that presses the brake pads against the brake disc when you press the brake pedal. Through the brake line, brake fluid is pushed into the caliper under pressure; that pressure pushes the piston in the caliper outward, causing the brake pads to clamp the disc and the moped car to slow down.
A worn or seized brake caliper shows up as a moped car that pulls to one side under braking, as a caliper that sticks and no longer releases the pads after you let go of the brake pedal, or as a visible brake fluid leak around the caliper. This brake caliper is by Bonq and is supplied complete with brake pads. The caliper fits both the left and the right front side, and works with a brake disc with a diameter of 210 mm.
Suitable for the left and right front side of the JDM Abaca, Abaca Mountain, Albizia and Aloës and the Microcar MC1 and MC2, in combination with a brake disc of 210 mm diameter.
