Moped car drive belt

The drive belt is one of the most essential wear parts in the CVT system of your moped car. It transfers engine power to the drivetrain and directly determines driving behaviour, acceleration and ride comfort. In the CVT system, the drive belt runs between two variable pulley discs, also known as vario discs. The belt wears through normal use and must be replaced periodically. It is therefore advisable to check the condition of the vario clutch when replacing the drive belt. Symptoms of a worn belt include reduced acceleration, vibration when pulling away, slipping or a visibly frayed belt.
