The steering house cover protects the steering house and internal steering components from dirt, moisture and other external contamination. As long as the cover is intact, the axial steering ball joints and other moving parts remain lubricated and well protected. A damaged or worn steering house cover can lead to accelerated wear of the steering house and steering ball joints. Signs of a defective steering house cover are visible cracks, holes or drying out of the rubber, grease leakage on the inside or outside of the cover, dirt or moisture in the cover visible after removal, creaking or grinding sounds when steering, accelerated wear of the axial steering ball joint or other steering components, and increasing steering play when contamination has caused damage over a longer period. When replacing, always check the condition of the steering ball joints and the steering house.

The range includes three versions. The most requested is a universal cover from Bonq that fits almost all brands and models. Left and right are identical. Only for Casalini the covers are different and left and right differ. Original covers are available for Casalini. Steering house covers are sold individually.
