Moped car master cylinder

The master cylinder is the heart of the hydraulic brake system of your moped car. It converts the force with which you press the brake pedal into hydraulic pressure that is sent via the brake hoses to the brake calipers. A well-working master cylinder is of great importance for safe and reliable braking performance. Typical symptoms of a defective master cylinder are a soft, spongy or deep brake pedal that goes to the floor without sufficient braking force, a brake pedal that slowly sinks while you keep your foot on it indicating an internal leak, brake fluid leakage visible on the outside of the cylinder, reduced braking force at one or both wheels, and a brake system that can no longer be correctly bled. Always bleed the brake system after replacing the master cylinder to remove air from the system. Always use the correct brake fluid as specified by the manufacturer.
